Hello, from Arizona!

We are here!! We arrived in Arizona on Thursday afternoon and have been spending the last couple of days unpacking/organizing. The remainder of our belongings should be getting here in about an hour and a half, which means there is a lot more to be done.

A lot of people have been asking to see pictures of our home, but right now it is pretty boring. We don’t have much in the way of furniture and we have boxes and piles of our stuff everywhere. However, once things get unpacked and the house looks presentable, I will take a video of a tour of our house, so you can all see what it looks like. Once it is fully decorated, we will be posting pictures

However, I can describe it to you! We decided to go with base housing. As of right now, we are very happy with our decision. We have a beautiful two bedroom, one bath house in a very nice community. We have a car port (which keeps my car cool when it gets so hot here.) The car port has a door which leads to our kitchen. The kitchen is on the small side, but has lots of counter space and enough room for two people to comfortably stand. Oh, and it has a dishwasher! We are very, very happy about our dishwasher.

The kitchen leads to our dining room which connects to the living room. There is a huge window in the living room with a door leading to our back yard. We have a nice patio, a small yard and a pomegranate tree! Back inside, we have the two bedrooms and the bathroom off to the other side of the house. Our house is very simple but so perfect for us to start our lives together!

As for married life, things have been going good! We have been a little stressed about the move and the job interview yesterday but we are so happy to be together again. The long distance is finally over! We are so excited to start our life together and to finish making this house a home.

Memorial Day Weekend 2014

A picture Trevor took of a Hawk on base. This is  Hawkward.  Spreading his wings ♥  Who could not enjoy this view?!  Wide open roads...  A beautiful Arizona backdrop  Just some cave formations.  I like caves...I wanted a picture inside one!  Arizona has the most beautiful skies ever!  Look who can smile!  We took a trip to the zoo! Giant turtle!  Double selfie at the zoo. Aren't we adorbs? (P.s. Selfies with a DSLR = not easy)  Giraffe looks sad...

Exploring Downtown

So we went exploring downtown today. In Tucson there is a trail called "Turquoise Trail" which is about a 2 mile loop and showcases historical parts of Tucson. We had tons of fun exploring and I captured some great shots. I hope you enjoy!
